85 percent of people can be brainwashed and manipulated simply because they lack a "thought process". This simply means they never apply logical thought and reason into what they are being told, sold and see. 10 percent of the population actually does the brainwashing; this would be the media, marketers,religions, governments just to name a few. 5 percent of the population has knowledge of self and can decipher the truth from a lie.
